Three day OOTD

Where's Esjae-do?

Hello beautiful earthlings!
I am on a roll this week posting more than once! Yay!
I am here to share with you the outfits I wore during our city break in London. I want to put it out there that I am no fashionista. Most of the times, you will find me in hoodies, shirts, jeans and sneakers.  But that does not mean that I am not a fan of fashion because I am. I enjoy looking at what others are wearing or what their closet staples.

I promised (not really) myself to dress better this year and try not to wear a lot of hoodies but laziness is me. If I have to dress good, I have to plan it. I actually planned what I was going to wear for the three days! So here they are!

Be warned: I am awkward posing in front of the camera and it is a fact and I have been told this so yeah... Haha Also I will provide links of the product if I do find them.  If I do not link them, it means what I was wearing was from ages ago.

DAY 1 - CREASED 1004

1004 equals cheonsa equals angel. Why? Well, I was wearing a white shirt duh! Haha kidding!

DAY 2 - SWEATHER

Sweather = sweater + weather

  • Oversized turtle necked sweater from H&M
I still wore the same shoes and wore thick black leggings from Penneys

DAY 3 - SHOE STOPPER

When in London, one must take a photo with the red telephone booth. As this day title suggest, it was all about my shoes. I love it so much and whenever I wear it, I get a lot of compliments!

I seriously think that my shoe heel was on point! I love my Platform 9 3/4 photo because of my shoe! (To those who notice yes how Asian can one get trying to wear a Ravenclaw scarf?! And no I am not really smart)

I have two accessories during our trip that I could not live without!
  • Blanket scarf from New Look (€14.99 - You can get 10% discount on New Look if you present them your student ID)
  • Rucksack by River Island (I've had this bag for 4 years, River Island offers a similar one in different pattern in the Men's section)

I know this post is long, I am sorry but I hope you enjoyed reading this! And thank you!

Peace & Love!

Travel: London (Day 1)

Big Ben and the sunset. Isn't it beautiful?

Hello beautiful earthlings~

This blog post is going to be filled with a ton of photos so avert your eyes if you are not interested.

We took RyanAir from Dublin to London Stansted. I was kinda scared at first flying with them because it was first time and they have that reputation to give you a headache according to many people I have talked to. But fortunately for us, our flight with them went smoothly in regards to our baggage and stuff.

When we arrived in Stansted, we took the National Express coach to bring us to and from Victoria. It cost us £19 each. Terravision offers transport to and from Victoria for a cheaper price but we chose National Express as they run 24 hours.

It took us about almost 2 hours to get to Victoria as we left the airport during rush hour. When we arrived in Victoria, we queued to the Oyster ticket booth to purchase our Oyster cards and top it up with travel money. The Oyster card cost £5 and we were told that £20 was enough for travelling for 3 days in Zone 1 and Zone 2.

After that, we went to eat at Wasabi - a Japanese fast food chain. We were surprised at the prices since it was cheaper compared to the equivalent stuff we'd get here in Dublin. I could not take photos of the food inside since it was not allowed.

I got the Chicken Yakisoba. It was about £5 which was a score since the portions are HUGE! We had to take some of our food home. We do not like throwing away food okay?!

After that, we took the Tube to West Kensington to where our rented apartment was.

We then made our way to London Dungeon. We did not have pictures or videos in the place since it was not allowed.

After that we took photos with Big Ben at the background.

After that we went to London Sea Life Aquarium.

After Sea Life, we walked to Trafalgar Square to take photos and to Piccadilly Circus then to Chinatown for our dinner.

We went to this Chinese restaurant called Old Town 97.It was a cosy place with good food.

I had duck rice and duck with black bean sauce. It's not too obvious that I love duck right?

After dinner, we took photos near the lanterns for the Chinese New Year decorations.

This is such a Tumblr worthy photo with Asian noms. I stopped by into the store to get me those green tea matcha Pocky. It was so cramped inside.

On our way home we came across this bakery called Golden Gate Cake Shop and bought our friend her birthday cake!

We got the third cake down to the left.

We were fascinated by these little cakes. Being in Chinatown gave us that feeling that we were not in Europe any more.

Hope you enjoyed this blog post!
Looking forward to me posting our 2nd day!

Review: Our London Apartment from Housetrip.com

Hello beautiful earthlings! This blog post should have been posted earlier but when we got back from our London weekend city break, I managed to get myself sick. However, I feel slightly better compared to yesterday and the day before that.

As the title suggest, I am here to review the apartment we got from Housetrip.com.

The apartment was located around the Kensington area in Central London. Click the link here to view the apartment.

COST

The apartment cost us €752 for 3 nights for 8 people. It was roughly €94 euros per person for 3 nights which was a good deal for us.
We also had to pay £20 cleaning fee and £99 security deposit which we got back on our last day.

LOCATION

The apartment is well located. It is located in Zone 2 and it is about 25-30 minutes away from Piccadilly Circus.  The apartment is just 5 minutes away from the West Kensington tube station which was the station we always get.  The hosts also said that Baron's Court is also of walking distance but we preferred the West Kensington station. We spent about  £20 worth of travel money for the 3 days we stayed in London using the Oyster card and we used it for the buses and tubes.
There are a lot of take away shops in the area where we got our food from and all of them are affordable. There is also a convenient store (Sainsbury) in the corner.

APARTMENT

The apartment itself was beautiful! When my friends and I got there we were amazed at how beautiful the building was. It looked really fancy!

The apartment is well suited for a big group. It catered our group of 8 people in it. There are 2 bedrooms that has a double bed that can sleep in 2 persons each.  The living room also has a double bed for 2 people, and two sofa bed for 1 person each.
Toiletries, towels and hair dryer are provided for our group.
There is only one bathroom in this apartment and we were glad that we were never out of hot water for shower.
They also provided the bedsheets and pillowcases. There are also more duvets found in one of the closets in one of the bedrooms.
We also like how clean the apartment was when we got there.

The apartment is fully equipped with kitchen appliances (stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher) and kitchen utensils from cooking pans to your cutleries and plates.

I only managed to take one photo of the bedroom but in their Housetrip page, they have provided all the photos.

I also made a vlog of the apartment even though I have poor video taking skills!

COMMUNICATION WITH HOSTS

We had no problem whatsoever in contacting the hosts of the apartment. They were always ready to answer any questions we had. They were very accommodating to our group and agreed to welcome us earlier than the usual check in time as we had to go to our attractions as we booked it on a specific time.
I texted Roberta (one of the hosts) some questions during our stay and I always got a reply back which was a plus!

OVERALL

I highly recommend this apartment to any of you visiting London. If the apartment is unavailable, I recommend any properties from Danilo or Roberta as they are such good hosts to our grourp.

If you have any questions during our stay, don't hesitate to comment down below! Thank you!

Haul: Benefit's SugarGlam Fairies

Hello beautiful earthlings. Hauls have been my thing lately and it's a blah I know. It's a bad habit of mine really since it makes me broke at the end of the day T__T But I am quite a happy gal to get me these things through my hardwork.

I got Benefit's SugarGlam Fairies in Clery's here in Dublin since it was on a HUGE sale. It was  originally priced €103 and was down for €43.55! It was such a good deal!

The set included a full size of the POREfessional, full sized They're Real Mascara, full sized Hoola Bronzer and a mini sized Benetint.

I am very excited to try the bronzer since the saleslady told me that the undertone is green therefore does not look orange. I think orange bronzers don't look all that flattering on me. But then again, it's just my personal opinion about me haha

I hope everyone is having a good 2015 so far! May we be blessed this year as well as the previous one.

Peace & Love.
